Due to further business growth and expansion we seek a Marketing Manager to join the team.
Role Summary:
Ideally home based in the Midlands the Sales Executive will cover a territory from the Midlands to the South of the UK.
To generate new business for the company’s products by generating own leads and following up on leads generated by marketing activities
To maintain relationships with the existing key accounts so that the account contracts are renewed
Cross sell opportunities for further distribution and additional products
Key Responsibilities:
Meet daily, weekly and monthly targets as set out by the Managing Director
Secure new business by:
Own lead generation
Follow up leads and provide feedback to the Managing Director
Maximise revenue and profit opportunities in existing accounts
Introduce products and services as deemed appropriate
Profile target accounts
Present and demonstrate the products to prospective clients
Produce proposals together with supporting documentation ensuring that quotations are supplied to prospects using the company’s quotation system
Update the company’s CRM system with all prospecting and customer related actions
Develop good working relationships with existing customer base
Attend conferences and exhibitions
Complete daily, weekly and monthly activity reports.
Provide accurate sales forecasts
Produce monthly performance indicators and statistics
To assist in the preparation of internal reports as required
Essential Experience:
Proven track record of achieving B2B sales results to targets
Ability to present and demonstrate products to CEO’s and Board Directors through to Union Officials and Local Managers
Able to deal with all sized organisations from SME to large companies
A professional and confident telephone manner.
Knowledge of using a CRM system.
MS Office skills in particular Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Must be prepared to travel around the country and stay away for periods of several days each week.
